Maybe dishonesty, arrogance and narcissism are the very personality traits it takes to make it in public life. We have another perfect example running our city. With 24/7 news, can anyone be truly honest about the debauchery of ones early life. Arrogance might be the only defense against the attacks by lobbyists, party lines and opposing candidates in the election process. Narcissism/self-love is a must in keeping positive during the negative long-running campaign environment. Would you run?? Count me out. Smart would be great, but common-sense is a trait that I admire in anyone, especially in those who are representing my vote. Maybe it is time to evaluate candidates based on common-sense...could we find anyone to elect? Seems doubtful when looking at the current elected officals running our country both locally and nationally. Very well said.
