Another anecdote demonstrating Governor Romney's character came from his eldest son, Tagg, who came to speak during the Maine Caucus. He said that as a teen, out for a long afternoon of fishing on the lake, he realized he had lost his anchor. So he rowed back to shore with his fish. Inside, his father asked how he did, and Tagg said that he caught a few, but that he lost the anchor. Mitt immediately said there's no need to buy another when he could go back out and find it. Tagg said he said something like, "Yeah, right," or some other teenage-appropriate reaction. But instead of rebuking his insolence, Mitt said, "Come on. I'll show you;" and changed into his trunks and led him back to the lake where he showed Tagg how to conduct a grid search to ultimately find the anchor. Tagg said he learned two things about his dad that day. #1) His father is cheapest man he's ever met. #2) He will always lead by example to help someone get the job done. He said he learned a third lesson many years later when he had children of his own, which was that his father cherished him enough to impart those values. If only others saw him in that light. Alas, it was not to be. The world has changed and left no inconsiderable number of us behind.

A lot more doubt, mumble; much more trouble, delegate; when in charge, ponder.
Do not let your ego get too near to your posture, to ensure in case your position gets shot down, your ego doesn't go with it.

Meryl Streep's eloquence, heartfelt words, and unabashed tears made me cry. Through and through the woman is a beautiful soul, and it translates into everything she does. The Oscars rocked!

So just how does a guy who doesnt say a word in his movie, dances a few numbers with his lady friend, expresses a few emotions with his face, beat out two made in America icons. Whats not to like about Clooney's and Pitt's efforts in their respective movies. Apparently a lot of people agree....both movies out sold The Artist by 50% domestic and foreign.

We booked our tour to Turkey with Package Tours Turkey. We had a specific time to travel as my daughter was coming on her vacation and we do not have another slot. We were also a bit worried as we were booking from Kuwait and we do not know the credibility of the company in Turkey except through the web. However, the company proved to be very trustworthy and reliable http://www.packagetoursturkey.com It was totally a 7 night 8 day tour.. We were greeted at the hotel by a staff from the tours team and she was very polite and made us feel comfortable from the outset. The hotel personnel at Muyan suites were extremely hospitable and reliable. Although a small hotel, it had all required facilities and was located in a central location at Sultanahmet. We had the first day free at our disposal and the Tour Coordinator advised us how to spend our time best during this day. The next day we joined the Istanbul city tour with the team and had very nice time with a ayand could not enjoy as much as we did on the previous day. The highlight of the day was how the company arrvery knowledgeable guide. The next day we went on Bosphorus cruise Our next location was Kusadasi and we checked in to Hotel MDC which was a cave hotel and also a world heritage site. It was a great exoerience for us as the hotel was fabulous and although the temperatures outside were very cold, the heating system inside the room was fabulous and hence we were quite cosy in our rooms. We had a large suite with two rooms for us and it was a memorable experience. The next day we visited Pamukkale and the guide who came with us was very knowledgeable and we had an enjoyable day. We returned to our hotel at around 6 PM. We rested for a while and left to for a dinner at around 8 PM when we witnessed the start of the first winter snowfall in Turkey for this year. We then went to Izimir by flight and checked in to hotel Charisma. This was a lovly hotel with a lovely Sea view and we were provided with 2 inter-connecting rooms here also. The weather here was fabulous and we had a nice time for the next two days where we visited Ephesus and the Travertines and the Temple of Artemis etc. We rturned to Istanbul and checked in to Muyan suites again for the seventh night and the eighth day was left to ourselves and we were picked up at the hotel at about 6.30 PM to go to the airport. A totally satisfying tour not only because of the enchanting places in Turkey, but also because of the wonderful organisation by our tour company and we felt completely at home. We even promised them that we would return to Turkey and use the same company again. I would not hesitate to recommen this company to any of my friends.

It has been said that statecraft is soulcraft. It seems that the souls in our country do not often agree when it comes to the "social issues", wars or even education. While i dont give us much hope that we will ever have unity in my lifetime on what we should spend money on, i do believe that we will unify over balancing the budget. People just know from the deepest part of there soul that even though they might like spending more on certain programs that we just cant until we have our credit card paid off. So the conservatives will just have to agree to quit spending so much on war and the liberals will have to quit bailing out bankrupt businesses and mortgages until we get our financial house in order. I dont think anyone who voted for the current administration would have thought that we would have increased spending so dramatically as we have. while many in America agree with President Obama's view on social issues they deep deep down know that whoever is in the White House the next four years must get us out of debt and must stop the red ink in the federal treasury. Financial boundaries many times help our souls make the tough decisions!
