Boy, it is great when you get to this milestone. I found myself grinning as I thought of my husband and of my grown sons as the "sayings" fit. Of course, they (sons) being in their mid to late 30s crisscrossed these differences. My younger son did buy his bride a pair of Jimmy Choo rhinestone spike heels and sent them to her lingerie shower. This was a hit, to say the least!! They looked gorgeous with her wedding dress; who would have known! I look forward to Qmuze! Guys pout; Men say they are sorry! Boy, it is great when you get to this milestone. You might add that a guy lets you open your own beer, a man will hand you a cold one already opened. Men will ask if you want something, and listen to what it is. This has worked for me. Always be careful what you ask the universe for it will come directly to your front door, and be sitting in the living room, when you arrive. I truly believe we live in a world where people have chased lovers, investing time in relationships with those ones over parenting their children. It has taken its toll and created a world where people are out for self-gratification, for what comes easily, the NOW, instead of thinking long term. Loving dedicated mothers and fathers raise men and women instead of guys and chicks. I have been extremely fortunate to have known MEN in my life, to have dated men, to have men as friends–and these men all have something in common…they all had close relationships with their mothers!
