Interesting photographs. My brother woke me up at three am to tell me a tsunami was going to hit San Francisco, and all I could do was get a bag of clothes together in case I was going to have to climb to higher ground. It made me appreciate that we're small creatures surrounded by powerful elements which we are unable to control, and it is humbling. It made me appreciate that I'm alive, able to love, able to dream, and I don't want to ever take any of those things for granted.
